2017 DEF CON 25 Car Hacking Village badge

A truck-themed badge for DEF CON 25: the board carries a lifted-truck illustration, an OLED display, a microSD slot, micro-USB, multiple large microcontroller-class ICs, pin headers and a keyed connector, with a ring of small SMD indicator LEDs around the edge. About 500 were made; I designed the board and assembled them, and the video shows the boards going through the pick-and-place machine, a Quad 4C running PPM-updated software.

Running

Powered up over USB: edge LEDs lit and the OLED showing live X / Y / Z readout. The white board at the end is a special-colour version of the badge; only a small run of those was made, under 20.
